Dr. Jonathan Rice, DPT

Jonathan graduated from the University of Montana with his doctorate in physical therapy. As a physical therapist, he has worked with Olympic level athletes, weekend warriors, and desk jockeys, enabling them to return from minor pains and major neurological injuries. Pursing advanced training in both manual therapies to speed your recovery and exercise prescription to empower you to get back in action.

Before becoming a PT, Jonathan dabbled in the world of engineering. His background as an engineer gives him a unique perspective and insight in managing injuries and creating treatment plans. He is passionate about innovating patient specific and injury specific tools to help you achieve your goals.

Random Fun Facts:

  • Outside the clinic, Jonathan is invigorated by biking, hiking, rowing, running, and skiing. His dog joins him on most of these adventures even when he needs a ride in a backpack (when the snow gets too deep).
  • The beautiful Pacific Northwest is his favorite playground and hopes to someday climb all of Oregon’s volcanoes.
  • When he has more time he travels with his wife Kate and has even worked as a clinical educator in a teaching hospital in Bhutan. He finds great joy in helping people overcome obstacles and get back to the activities that they enjoy.
